How does two-factor authentication (2FA) work?
What you need: An authenticator app (e.g. Google or Microsoft Authenticator) or the Apple app “Passwords” on your smartphone.
How to activate 2FA: In your findependent app, go to Profile, Security -> «Two-factor authentication (2FA)» and follow the instructions. In the future, you will need to enter a code from your authenticator app in addition to your password when logging in.
