I am unemployed, am I still allowed to pay into pillar 3a?

Even if you are currently taking a career break: As long as you are receiving unemployment benefits from the RAV and reside in Switzerland, you are allowed to pay the full maximum amount of 7'258 Swiss francs into your pillar 3a and diligently save on taxes.

If this is not the case, your already saved money will still remain active for you in your investment solution.
