Transfer offer for your 3a

If you transfer your existing pillar 3a (even multiple ones) to us, we will give you the 3a fees for the first half of 2027 as a gift. Here is how you benefit:

• Transfer your 3a assets to findependent by the end of February 2027 and pay no fees until June 2027.

• You start the transfer directly in the app.

How it works

1. Open your findependent 3a account via app
Simply open your 3a account in the app under «Discover».

2. Initiate transfer
In the findependent app, click on «Deposit» under pillar 3a. Then scroll down and click on the «Request transfer» button as well as «Start transfer». Then select your previous foundation using the dropdown menu and indicate which account should be closed and transferred.

3. Sign form and send
Have the transfer form delivered to you by post (our print service is free of charge). Shipping takes 2-3 working days.
Or you can send it directly to yourself by email and print it out yourself.
Then send the signed form by post to your previous 3a pension institution.

4. Double benefit
In the first and second quarters of 2027, you pay no 3a fees. And even after that, you benefit from our extremely low 0.29% all-in fees.

I’m already a client. Can I still participate?
Yes. The offer also applies to existing clients who transfer 3a assets to us from another provider.

By when do I need to initiate the transfer?
By February 28, 2027 at the latest, directly in the app.

Which fees are waived?
Until 30 June 2027, Management fees (0.29% p.a.) from findependent are waived. Product costs (TER of the funds) do not exist anyway in our 3a, and there are no Stock exchange fees & stamp duties or Currency conversion fees either.

Does this apply to all my 3a assets with you?
The fee waiver applies to your total 3a assets with findependent. It therefore also covers your deposits.

I’m already transferring in November 2026. What do I pay until the end of the year?
Nothing! We give you the gift of waived fees from day one until 30 June 2027 at the latest. The earlier you transfer, the more you benefit.

How long does a transfer take?
That depends heavily on how fast your previous provider transfers the money. Experience shows that this can take a few weeks with some providers though. So it’s best to initiate the transfer early. 

Does the transfer cost me anything?
Not with us. Your previous provider might charge a closing fee. It’s best to ask them directly.
